Mike Lockwood '66 passed away July 15, 2019. Mike was so dedicated to Ohio Gamma and was particularly fond of our golf event. So in his honor, let’s designate our golf event as The Michael Lockwood Memorial Ohio Gamma Golf Outing. For short, “The Lockwood”.
To continue one of the traditions that we started in our Centennial Year, the annual Ohio Gamma Sig Ep Golf Outing will be held on Saturday August 17, 2019. This event is open to both Alumni and Undergraduate Brothers. Guests are welcome as well. We have shifted the date to later in August to accommodate more of the undergraduates who will be returning for the Fall semester. We had a great time last year so you will not want to miss the event this year. We will be playing the Glenross Golf Club located between Columbus and Delaware off Rt. 23 for the seventh year in a row. It features a 6600 yard, par 70 layout featuring rolling fairways, undulating greens, 50 sand bunkers, seven ponds and a natural creek. This could be quite a challenge!!
Therefore, we are planning a four man scramble event followed by cash prizes to the winners and beverages in the Club House. If you have particular Brothers that you would like to play with, please indicate their names on the response form under comments. If you don’t have a foursome, we will set up pairings based upon skill levels. The Golf committee does reserve the right to adjust the teams to insure a balance of skill levels. We will assemble at Glenross at 12:00 noon., arrange the teams and tee off beginning at 1:00 p.m. Food is available for order at the bar either before or after golf. So, after the round we will be enjoying a beverage or two and presenting the awards.

Cost: Golf - $60 per person includes green fees, cart, 2 drink tickets and prizes
